Types of Coaching Offered

My approach is patient, adaptable, and individualized when i train goalies. I don’t force goalies into one system or style. Instead, I work to understand each goalie’s strengths, personality, and game, and tailor my coaching to help them succeed while building from a strong technical foundation.

My goal is to help goalies develop not only better habits and skills, but a deeper understanding of the position and what it truly takes to succeed at higher levels. I want the goalies I train to “reach their highest peak” by training with peak goaltending.

Private / Small Group Sessions

2–3 goalies

These sessions are built for maximum development and personal attention.

This is the best option for focused, specialized teaching, built around high-quality reps, precise detail work, and maximizing each goalie’s individual development.

Ideal for goalies looking to:

Break down and rebuild specific areas of their game

Improve skating mechanics and edge control

Refine positioning, depth, and save selection

Work at their own pace with direct coaching feedbac

Semi-Private Sessions

4–6 goalies

Designed to combine high rep volume with competitive intensity, semi-private sessions allow goalies to train in a small group environment while still receiving individualized coaching.

With 4–6 goalies, this format creates a game-like pace while still allowing for detailed feedback and corrections.

Each session focuses on:

Technical refinement (skating, edges, crease movement

Game situational reps (rushes, rebounds, post play)

Reading plays and tracking the puck

Compete level and decision making under pressure

Camp-Style Sessions

Typically 8–10 goalies

Camp-style sessions bring together a larger group of goalies in a structured, high-energy training environment.

Sessions include:

Station-based drills for skill development

High-repetition shooting scenarios

Competitive drills and battle situations

Game simulation and situational play

This format is great for:

Building confidence

Increasing workload and endurance

Training in a more team-like, competitive setting

Goalie-Specific Off-Ice Training

This off-ice training is built for the demands of the goaltending position, focusing on explosiveness, movement, and building a strong, durable body for long-term performance that translates directly to the ice.

Training includes:

Mobility and flexibility

Strength development

Explosive power and lateral movement

Hand-eye coordination and reaction training

Balance and body control

This is where goalies develop the athletic foundation that translates directly to on-ice performance.
